    1. Re: [Birkenhead-L] Birth and marriage certificates
    2. It is quicker (often by return of post) and cheaper (£6.50 as against £8.50) to get them from Birkenhead. It is always so with local register offices, except Liverpool. Liverpool has a back-log of about 8 weeks, so then it is quicker to get it from Southport. 1. [Birkenhead-L] Flaybrick Cemetery burials
    2. Madison L Sheely
    3. Wendy: Thanks. Yes, I know that Flaybrick cemetery is very large. Someone wrote earlier that the office has records that would help locate a grave site. Here's what I have: DAVID BROADFOOT KENYON died August 21, 1880 His wife: MAY ANNE McADAM KENYON, died 1905 (don't have exact date) I recently found a letter indicating that she is buried at Flaybrick, so assume he is as well. I realize this could be a significant time commitment for someone willing to undertake it, but it sure would be helpful. Perhaps a phone call to the cemetery would yield at least basic information. Many thanks. Madison in Minnesota

    2. Madison L Sheely
    3. Many thanks to all who responded so helpfully to my request for information about Flaybrick Memorial Gardens, especially to the kind soul who provided such a graphic description of the Cemetery. Realizing that it is a fairly large cemetery, I now boldly ask if SKS would be willing and able to locate and photograph the graves of my gt-grandparents, DAVID BROADFOOT KENYON, and his wife, MAY ANNE MCADAM KENYON. This would be a wonderful addition to my genealogy. Digital photos would be the easiest to transmit "across the pond", but we could figure out a way to send regular snapshots. I am most willing to reimburse whoever is willing to undertake this mission. Many thanks in advance. Madison in Minnesota (USA)
