Hi When I lived in Birkenhead, I think No1 Elm Grove would have been at it's junction with Whetstone Lane. Houses only on one side of the road, the other having a high stone wall of Holt Hill Convent - all new houses now , of course. I have to go to B'head and if it's the same I'll try a photo!
