Documentation Held: Birth Certificate Alfred Kelly Marriage Certificate Alfred James Kelly and Dorothy Edwards Birth Certificate Dorothy Kelly Birth Certificate Norman Kelly Alfred was the first son of Alfred James and Sarah Ellen Morris. He was born on the 9th of December 1905 at 101 Handel Street, Toxteth Park Liverpool. Alfred father was listed as a Merchant Seaman. Ellen was the informant. The family address was 101 Handel Street. In 1925, Alfred (Jr.), residence was 28 Fairview Place; but, in June of that year he was at Aldershot with King's Liverpool Regiment. A picture found in the trunk of William Kelly shows a young man and a woman and who could be Alfred James (Jr.) and Florence Kelly. The young man is in the uniform of "The Kings" Liverpool Regiment 7th Bn. The picture was dated November 1924 and made in Liverpool.     2. David, I am without my main computer so have no acccess to my files at the mo, but I am in contact with Colin Jackson. From memory, his ggg grandmother was Mary Smith who married a Jackson and she died in Rockferry. I'm struggling to remember, but I think Mary was 21 in 1841 and died in 1913. There is a newspaper cutting about it as she was very old when she died, and coincidentally was born at Carr Farm a place I am researching. She had about 13 children or was one of thirteen, sorry that bit is fuzzy, but it would be a pretty good bet to consider these Jacksons as being related to yours? It unlikely I will gain access to my computer for a couple of weeks as I am redecorating my office so everything is in storage (ie blocking up my dining room!)
