My ggggrandmother was supposedly Nancy Birdwell who married Thomas Hagan in 1801 in Washington Co. TN. While in TN last week researching the Hagans, I found where Arthur had sold land to William Mullinax on Sept. 21, 1801 This land bordered Robert Birdwell's. Since Thomas was either Arthur's son or his brother, I am wondering if anyone has anything on this Robert? So far, I've found a dozen or more Nancy's and no one seems to know who her father was.
