I have found a Samuel Houston (1893) & Allen P. (c 1907), brothers, living in Houston in the same household. Parents are listed as born in United States. Does any one have any idea about their parentage? Rose I am still trying to get my scanner upted to send info to you. Hope to fix it soon. I got this ad off of internet and it says the Birdwell name is Scottish. The coat of arms is the same as we have. State's we landed in PA in 1856. I did order the information and will be shipped to me in a couple of weeks. It 11X17 with crest and history. Will let you know soon as it gets here.
