I'm trying to find more information about Victory or Victor Birdseye, b.abt Oct 1852 in NY and was a contractor/carpenter in Syracuse, Onondaga County. He is co-owner of Smith and Birdseye, Contractors in 1887. He and John and families, along with Charles J. Smith and Edwin C. Smith are living at 4 Raynor Ave in Syracuse in 1887. I'm trying to determine a relationship between Victory and the Smiths. I know who two of the Smiths are (Charles and Edwin) but don't know who John is and am hoping that Victory will give me a clue.
