To Ed and Mary: The fact that Richard Bird's brother is named Bourgon probably means he is a descendant of Andrew Bird and Mary Brokaw, daughter of Burgeon Brocaud. The book by Ed Bennet that Mary mentions doesn't have any mention of Ed's Richard; however, Ed has just finished a second edition with a lot more information (or so he tells me).
