Fred Bird married my Gr Aunt, Myra Sutherland, b 1882, N.S. He was a Sociology Professor, Columbia University; she was a registered nurse. I believe they were married in Teheran, Iran (Persia) where he taught at American(?) University. Their only child, Jean Bird, was born there in 1917. They returned to U.S. soon after birth of Jean. Sometime later Fred & Myra were divorced. I understand, Fred continued his Professorship at Columbia. I was hoping that someone may have known Fred; maybe he remarried and had another family who may know about his daughter, Jean Bird who may still be alive. Jean Bird married a Mark Abrams and they lived in London, I've been told. They had a daughter, Sarah Abrams, b 1946. Any help? Thanks, dana
