Hi, I am looking for descendants or anyone who has information on James BIRD who married Mary TAYLOR probably in the Coventry area. They had at least 2 sons. George BIRD was born 1844 and joined the navy. In 1881 he left the navy and later emigrated to Australia. The other son was Harry. He was a watchmaker and J.P. He was knighted but I don't know what for. At one time he lived in Chingford, Essex, which is now part of London I believe. Do you think there may be a link between our families?
