Hello everyone, Just wanted to let you know what is going on. I copied this message from one of the List Owners on the Listowners mailing list. "The message that you received from GenForum last night was SPAM. They attempted to send it to all of the Rootsweb lists, and caused the Rootsweb server to crash. GenForum is known to have engaged in other unethical behavior such as unwarranted censorship and threats against posters, and is alleged to have stolen copyrighted material." Now, all my listed are closed. I did not receive the message that was sent. I should have been sent a message from the server about it, but I didn't get that either. Don't know if he got to all the mailing lists before Rootsweb crashed or not. If any one got a strange message (they might have got the names individually) would you please let me know. It would be in reference to GenForum and probably from Chris Shaw. If he continues to do this, Rootsweb could go the same way as Maiser. If so, there would be no more surname mailing lists, as I don't know where we would go from here. We can not go back to Maiser. Appreciate any help.
