RE: John J. Baird (aka Bird?) LaRue County, KY 1850 Fellow rooters, McLin (Macklin) BIRD is thought to have attended the Levelwoods Methodist Church in LaRue County, KY in abt 1850. It has been reported that John J. BAIRD (also possibly BIRD) founded this church and that he had a son with the same name (John J. BAIRD) who was alive in 1850 and living next door to McLin BIRD. Would any of you happen to know anything about this BAIRD/BIRD family? Or would you perhaps know anything about obtaining records from an old Methodist church? Thanks Karen Bird [email protected]
