I recently found the will of my great grandfather Larkin Bird. He died in 1844 from injuries he substained in the War with Mexico. He and his family lived in Hendricks Co, Indiana prior to the war. He lived in Estille Co, Kentucky in the cen. of 1840. He was born in Va. I would like to trace this line further back but I am stuck. I found a list of Soliders in the War, and noticed that a Richard also fought in the same company and also from Hendricks Co. I am assuming this is his brother. He also had a son Richard, but, think he was too young to fight in this battle.Can anyone tie into these lines? Thanks, Elsetta- torres@netport.com
