I'm on my ever-lovin search for any information at all on this family. William Cam BYRD was my g-g grandfather. His father I have listed as Alex Byrd who married Betty Buttery. I have had absolutely no luck at all in finding these two people--nor have several other people who have been searching. Was hoping someone out there might have a clue as to where else I can search. Could Alex be a nickname for something other than Alexander??/ Thanks!
