Good morning everyone, I just received a message about this. As a member of CAUCE I thought it important to let you know, as action to stop this bill is needed now. This amendment threatens to legalize and legitimize the sending of junk mail. When you go there and read the article, at the end of the first paragraph, click on the URL and read about the Smith Bill which would amend the "anti- junk fax" to include email. They are asking everyone they can reach to call their representatives in Washington, C. D. For many this would be expensive. However, I think e- mailing them would help very much. They are listed by states. Maybe if they got enough mail they would think better about putting this through, as least as it is.
