I have some Bird/Byrd's in my Hamilton's also. My ggrandpa Richard Bird/Byrd Hamilton oldest child of Joseph Hamilton, son of John, was born in Cabarrus Co., NC on Apr 15, 1793. He was married to Salina Bird/Byrd in burk Co., NC on June 10, 1831. They moved to McMinn Co., Tn., sometime prior to 1836 where seven of their nine children were born. Richard Bird b. Mar 20, 1832 at Old Fort, NC; John B. b. Jan 4, 1834 at Old Fort, NC; Joseph W. b. Jul 23, 1836, Englewood, Tn; James W. A. b. Jul 26, 1838; Englewood, Tn; Robert N. b. Dec 14, 1840; Englewood, Tn; Mary E b. Dec 10, 1844 Englewood; Albert L. b June 19, 1847 Englewood; Daniel W. b. Oct 3, 1849 Englewood, and Sarah Ann Hamilton b. Jun 21, 1852 at Englewood, Tn. Richard B. Hamilton is buried at Horntown Cemetery having died Dec 9, 1909 at Holdenville, Hughes Co., OK. His mother Salina Bird/Byrd (I have a picture of her) was buried near Englewood, Tn.
