Glenda, You have given me quite a bit of help. It does still give me the possiblility that my ancestor Robert Clark Tate was married to Mary, the daughter of William. She would have been the aunt of Tom, Dick, and Harry. A lady from Texas is trying to find the 1860 and 1870 census records to see if she can find William and Jenny.
