Need to correct his birthdate tho - he was born in 1745, not 1725 - sorry. My Robert Bird married Catherine Cady (not sure if Cady was her last name or a nickname.) She was born in Maryland in 1758. They had seven children - all born in North Carolina. They settled in Knox County (later Whitley County, Kentucky sometime between 1792 and 1805.)
