Hello All! I am desperately searching for a Lucy Byrd, born around 1900. Her mother's name was possibly Susan or Susannah, called Suzie. Lucy Byrd married Guy Evans, and her name was blacked out of the family Bible because her father didn't approve. I have no date on Lucy and Guy's marriage, but they did have three children in or around Charlotte, North Carolina. Helen Eloise Evans, born 1925 Lucy Juanita Evans, born 2-Dec-1927 Guy Rajah Evans, born 1929 Lucy left Guy while their children were still young. She later remarried to a John Forbes, and had at least two children, Roger and Patricia. I have no dates on this family whatsoever. John flew military command, and was at one point in charge of the Chicago airport. Lucy was a breeder and trainer of a type of dog called "Samoyed." She is pictured in at least two books on the subject, and the names of her family is listed. My grandmother, Lucy Juanita, would like to know where her mother is buried.
