It contained nothing earlier than the marriage of Henry leBird and Ann Phelkin (whose son Thomas, who m. Alyce Palin, was b. ca. 1570). Only reference to the early Hugo was something to the effect that he had accompanied William the Conqueror (and didn't everyone?)...nothing further...nothing that I could find dealing with the the some 500 intervening years.
