Bird b: Abt 1840 2 Henry S. Bird b: Abt 1842 2 John H. or A. Bird b: Abt 1844 2 Miles M. Bird b: Abt 1847 I believe the above to be the parents and brothers of my Jeptha Bird b. 1834-1835 in Alabama, but for some reason he is not on this census. My Jeptha Bird line is: 1 Jeptha R. Bird b: 1834-1835 AL d: Abt 1879 +Mary Catherine ? b: Abt 1837 AL m: 1856-1857 d: 1875-1880 2 John C. Bird b: 1858-1859 AL 2 Julia A. Bird b: 1861-1862 AL 2 William H. Bird b: 1862-1863 AL 2 Mary Marelle Molly Bird b: 1868-1869 AL 2 Arizona Gertrude Bird b: May 10, 1872 AL or TX d: January 24, 1955 +William Henry Shopher, Sr. b: January 01, 1864 m: 1884-1890 d: November 22, 1941 2 Helen Catherine Bird b: 1874-1875 TX At some point my Jeptha lost a leg in an industrial accident and he died when my gr-grandmother, Arizona, was about 7 years old. Please let me know if any of you can verify that the first Jeptha is the father of my Jeptha. Also I have been told they were Indian, I think Cherokee?, and I'm trying to prove that also.
