In 1791, Susan (Susannah) Bird was the wife of James Earle, and the couple lived in Huntington Twp of Luzerne Co PA. A History of the Huntington Valley said that Susan Bird was from Canaan (Litchfield County) CT. I have found a number of Birds who lived in Salisbury Town, next door to Canaan, in Litchfield Co, but so far, no Susan; there was a Joseph Bird of Canaan who married a Huldah Sprague of Canaan, but that is the closest I`ve been able to get.
