While looking through some of my fathers papers i came across a letter written by Harold Bird from belmont,Mass. This letter references quite a few members of the Bird family going back to a THOMAS L BIRD from England born about 1613 and died in 1667. Some of the other Birds that were referenced were JOHN BIRD(1641-1732),SAMUEL BIRD(1726-1787) two other SAMUELS,EBENEZER BIRD(1761-?),there is also a reference to a BIRD-SAWYER homestead in New England.showing a list of succesive owners. Those listed are THOMAS BIRD(1637-16670,JOHN BIRD,JOHN BIRD,THOMAS BIRD,THOMAS BIRD,MARY BIRD,MARY BIRD,LUCY BIRD,CHARLES SAWYER. This takes us to 1915.
