Is this John BYRD (bca 1749/Louisa Co VA), s/o John BYRD (c1725/ Spotsylvania County VA) and Sarah ____ (c1729/Spotsylvania Co VA- 1787+/Grayson County VA)? Or is this John BYRD (c1725/Spotsylvania Co VA), s/o Samuel BYRD (<1709- 1737+). Either man cited here would be of age to serve as Clerk of Court for Fincastle in 1772, with leanings (age consideration) to the latter John BYRD. Any tips, leads, hints, ancestors, descendants, hiding places, etc., would be most welcome! Thanks!
