Lottie Jane Byrd May WEST HAMLIN - Lottie Jane Byrd May, 94, of West Hamlin died Nov. 6, 1998, after a long illness. She was a housewife and a member of Union Freewill Baptist Church, Merritts Creek. Surviving: husband, Don; daughter, Dorothy May of West Hamlin; son, Carl May of West Hamlin; sisters, Cynthia Spears of Garden City, Mich., Lucy Roberts of Alkol, Rosie Vickers of Sumerco, Eliza Lucas of Danese, Bessie Cyrus of Hamlin; brothers, William Byrd of Yawkey, Woodie Byrd of West Hamlin. Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Koontz Funeral Home, Hamlin, with the Rev. Oshel Bell and the Rev. Russell Adkins officiating. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery, Sweetland.
