Thanks for that address. I talked to a second cousin last night that possibly made my Byrd connection to the Byrds of Westover through Thomas Taylor Byrd and his son Richard Evelyn Byrd b. 1800. I was going to spend some time today trying to find out about Richard's son, William Elliot Byrd? that was suppose to have been in Texas by 1859. All of my cousin's mothers papers are in storage. My cousin is just starting to enter info but did have one printout to work from that her mother had made. Oh, why couldn't I have been into genealogy when all the old folks were alive.
