I am trying to locate William Bird, his wife Lottishe Hornbaker and their family originally for Wantage, Sussex Co. NJ. There are some ties to the Clove Valley Dutch Reformed Church. In the late 1700's and early 1800's what was the custom age of Baptism? Did they baptize babies or wait until the children were older? This would give me clue where to look chronologically.
