This individual has caused much grief to many of us. He has set up a list for every county in the US, every country in the world, every subject imaginable. His server is over-whelmed and bounces like crazy; he has no data on hardly anything. Once you are on ONE of his lists, you automatically get on hundreds of them and he won't let you off. When you follow his unsub directions, they either bounce or don't work. He has said in the past that he will "take over the world" - presumably the genealogy world and he feels soon, no one will be able to do any research without being on one of his lists. He will not answer any of our e-mail and if you write him, he puts you on a list. He has been unable to make any announcements to any of my lists because I have "locked" the lists ... no one but subbers can post and I won't let him on (tho he subscribes to hundreds of lists just to be able to post the info such as below). He is not an honored member of anything! The decision is always yours and I know we are always trying to find new information on our families ... but this one is one that I would never consider getting involved with personally. If you check out his website and go to KY - Barren and all other counties are listed. But you cannot subscribe just to Barren Co - you sub to the whole smear!
