Looking for information about the Civil War, particularly the following companies out of Pennsylvania, if anyone could recommend WEB and or print sources I would be appreciateive: Samuel Bird Company M, 3rd Pennsylvania, Heavy Artillery John Bird Company K, 2nd Pennsylvania, Provincia, Heavy Artillery John Bird Company M, 2nd Pennsylvania, Heavy Artillery ALSO: Information about a group called the Covington Fencibles (1860) Drinker's Beech. A citizen's home guard Organized by Hiram Travis 1845. First meeting held in George Treible Hotel, Daleville, August 1846. They were subject to Pennsylvania military law. Group existed until 1861. Isaac Bird and Joseph Bird joined in 1856. Thanks Paul
