I am looking for a county in NC that William BYRD, b. Bet. 1801-1804 in NC; d. February 16, 1883 Scott Co., TN; md. 1844 in Scott Co., TN Elizabeth SHOOPMAN (b. 1806 in VA, d. August 16, 1871, Scott Co., TN). Both Elizabeth and William are buried in Fairview Cemetery, Scott Co., TN. I have hit a road block with these two. Does anyone have any info that would help me go back any further?
