I do own the book, compiled by Robert Earl Byrd...."A Byrd Family History" and am willing to do lookups if anyone is interested. Also, I am looking for documentation of parentage of Mary Byrd, born May 2, 1815...died Oct 11, 1909 in Copiah Co Ms... who married Nathaniel Green Barlow, shown in Memoirs of Ms to have been the daughter of George and Byrd of SC....but shown on a few descendency charts I have seen as the daughter of Eden Byrd and Ann Lee.... Also....would desperately love to know who are the parents of Flora Anne Byrd, born Feb 21, 1818....married to George Washington Barlow, probably in Simpson Co MS around 1830.....and of Elisabeth Byrd...born Dec 22 1821..married Narvle R. Barlow in Rankin Co Ms on Feb 27, 1845. One newspaper article I have read indicates the three are sisters, and the daughter of a John Byrd....but I don't believe that information to be correct. My theory is that John and George were brothers and that perhaps Flora Anne were sisters, daughter of John....and that Mary was a cousin...daughter of George...but I have no proof of any of that. The persons that showed Mary to be the daughter of Eden Byrd....have not shown documentation to support the information...although...if it were proven, at least I'd have a connection to the many many Byrds found in that area of MS..
