I'ld love to hear from you. Thanks. Carma, Are ya kid'n? Chief Factor Bird is one of them most researched men in history! There is plenty known about James Curtis Bird, it is his progeny that present the mysteries. <GGGG> Don't pay any attention to me. Fact is I know little about him, but do believe he is an ancestor. Trying to prove it is another matter. And there are some pretty good charts on the family. The Provincial Archives in Winnipeg have a good deal about Mr. Bird, his family, and the HBC in general. There is plenty known and there are plenty of holes. I'm sure there are others that follow this group that can provide some good leads for you. Where are you and what are you up to? -- Regards, Jim McDonnell Seattle, Washington "Work is for people who don't know how to fish"
