Hello I am new to this list. I am searching for connections to Lucinda Sharpton McClendon who was the wife of Daniel Byrd McClendon, whose parents were Joel McClendon and Sarah Byrd. Sarah's parents were Elijah Byrd and Nancy Bird (cousins). Elijah's parents were Elijah Sr and Ann Nancy Bird's parents were Daniel Byrd Sr. and Sussanah Daniel Byrd Sr and Elijah Sr.'s father was William Byrd III, who,according to my source, founded Richmond, Va. Their other brothers were Solomon, Hezekiah, John. Wiliam's father was William Byrd II and his father was William Byrd I. I received my existing information from Ralph McClendon for which I thank him again, if he is on this list. Loucinda Sharpton's mother was Elizabeth Sharpton who lived "next" door to Alexander Sharpton (son of Jeptha Sharpton). There is no proven connection between them as related other than they lived next to each other and had the same last name. Elizabeth was born about 1822. Loucinda was born about 1844-1846.Alexander was born 1801. All were born in Edgefield SC.
