David Runnels-John Sanders were witnesses.Cynthia's mother Jane Bird gave permission to marry. Isaac and Cynthia had 9 known children: Sarah J.Sanders-b.1833 James Sanders-b.1835 m.Parthena? Rebecca Sanders-b.1839 Nancy Ann Sanders-b.1842-m. Izaac Sanders(Rather confusing}They had 19 children.They were married Decatur Co.,Ind.Nancy d.1913 John M.Sanders- b.1843 Joseph H.Sanders-b.1847 Thomas Sanders-b.1849 Malinda Sanders-b.1851 Mary Elizabeth Sanders-b.1858 IN{Our Line}m.Paris Carter 1874 in Coles Co,Hutton Twp IL.d.1922 Fayette Co.,IL. 1840 Census Washington Co,KY.lists Cynthia & Isaac.& 3 children 1850 Census Sand Creek Twp,Decatur Co IN lists Isaac and Cynthia with 7 of their children. Also in household was a JANE BIRD -77 years old. We think this must be Cynthia's mother. This would make JANE BIRD b. 1773 probably in NC. 1860 census lists Isaac and Cynthia with 7 of their children. There is also an Isaac Wooten-9 years old. JANE BIRD is not listed. 1880 census of Coles Co,IL.finds Isaac&Cynthia.They are 65 years old.Cynthia is listed as being born in KY. and her parents born in NC. We would love to find the parents and siblings of Cynthia Bird.
