I have just started on my gr gr grandmother Sarah ( Sallie) Byrd that married a Jack? Coleman and had 3 sons and 1 daughter. She was born in VA. Died in Flat Creek Bedford CO, TN 1850, this is 2 years after my gr grandfather was born. I am kin to:BOONE/?,HOWARD/STEPHENS, FLOYD/NORMAN, WATSON/WHITMORE. Since I don't know Jack Coleman's history or Sallie Bird's family history I was surprised to see the names Watson and Byrd and that they were cousins. This is in the mid 1700's in VA. Now I have a Jesse and an Obediah Coleman in Flat Creek with no history first half of the 1800's. All of these people are kin can someone tell me if the Bird/Byrd family is kin to any of these names? I can do a lot things but I have had little success at genealogy brick walls. My gr grand parents were William Samuel Coleman and Sarah Ann Boone. Thanks for reading my request for help.--Alicia
