I am quoting the following from memory. Rebekah Bird married Nathan Clarke and they were in Sumner County TN 1790's. I think my source says Rebekah was daughter of Robert Bird of Dobbs Co NC. A Edward Bird was in Sumner Co TN early to mid 1790's. I believe he was a bondsman or witness to a marriage. Rebekah was grandmother to some degree to a lady real estate agent currently in Robertson Co TN vicinity. I am interested in the Robertson Co TN Byrds and the Carroll Co TN Birds. Do you have anything to tie John, Rebekah, Robert, & Edward to Robertson Co TN Byrds? I think Rebekah & Nathan Clarke came to Sumner Co TN by way of East TN. I currently have big problems of identification of John, Robert, William, & Francis Bird (1822 to 1850 time frame) of Carroll Co TN and the Robertson Co TN Byrds. They are of the same families but appear next to impossible to sort out. Any clues appreciated.
