Hi All, I'm excited about all the activity on the list! Here are my BYRD/BIRDs: Alexander Floyd Byrd, married Elizabeth Betty "Buttry" Trent About 1853. They had: Landon Haynes Byrd (1856/1915), who married Mary Emeline Brown Linda Byrd (died young) John Wesley Byrd (1860/1950) who married Jane McWhorter James Solomon Byrd (1858/1930) who married Mary J. Trent William Campbell Byrd (my g-grandfather) (1865-1918) who married Sarah Virginia "Sallie" Bowman Landon and Mary had: Minnie, Lloyd, Gracie, Elmer, Dora, Cornie John Wesley and Jane had: Laura, Campbell, Jefferson, Gertrude, Sophia, Benjamin, Sherman, Charlotte James Sol and Mary had: Clinton, Clyde, James, Mattie Elizabeth, Minnie, Sollie Clinton William Cam and Sallie had: John Cam Hogan, John Wesley, Charles, Mary Elizabeth, Mandy Cordelia "Delia", Rhoda, Sprian Hall, Mattie Lee, Doyle Eugene, Jennie, Cloye and Candace (twins). All of these Byrd's came from around the Lee Co., VA, Hancock and Claiborne Counties, TN areas. Some ended up in Bell Co., KY. Would love to share information with anyone who can match up.
