I want to locate the family of Sarah (Sallie) Bird w/o Jess or Jack Coleman she had a son William Samuel Coleman b. 1848 Flat Creek, Bedford Co. TN. There were 4 children John(Jack) killed in war, a son that drown young and a daughter that died of a spider bite. Sallie died around 1850. My mother remembers Bird family visiting and talk of Richard Byrd's explorations and sled dogs that were of the bloodlines he took to the South Pole. My family of Coleman/Boone settled in Tarrent and Parker County, TX
