Hi all! I will be sending some more info to the group today. I didn't want to overload your mailbox yesterday. <grin> (Lisa, the listowner, will be shocked to see all the activity when she is safely out of harms way, and gets back to us. hehe) I'm so glad to see the posts. We won't find anything if we don't post, right? (I believe I read that in the confirmation letter yesterday - I re-read it.) We need to stay active, so we CAN find that elusive relative! I am currently updating my marriage records. Most of you know about this. I have most of BYRD marriages posted and will be updating with the BURD marriages soon. (There were only about 36 of them.) Now I'm working on updating the BIRD marriages. I am hoping that these records posted at my site will help some of you out there. I have these records set up by state, and years, and have posted the surnames beside each one, so you don't have to search the records blind.
