Between 1838 and 1840 Thomas and Polly moved to Gallatin county Illinois. Children of this marriage are: Rebecca Jane Bird born 1844 Gallatin County Illinois Andrew J. Bird born ca 1845 Alabama John T. Bird born ca 1848 Gallatin County Illinois Sarah C. Bird born ca 1850 Gallatin County Illinois Polly died sometimes in 1850 in Gallatin County Illinois Thomas md (2nd) Mary Louise Scroggin January 12 1851. Children of this marriage are: Samuel J.
