Looks like these Byrds/Birds may have passed through my general neighborhood. I have a bare minimum of information on my line. I've been digging unsuccessfully for some scrap of information that might lead me to the ancestry of a Susan(nah) Byrd who married Joseph Honeycutt of Buncombe Co., N.C. He was born ca. 1789, son of Moses Honeycutt. Susan's parents are reputed to have been a Sam and Polly (Mary) Byrd, but even this is not documented. I'd be interested in any information of Virginia Byrds who may have made their way into the Burke/Buncombe/Yancey Co. area of North Carolina in early days. Thanks for your attention, Tom >I'm looking for information on the family and ancestors of Jacob Bird/Byrd b. >1779 in Tennesse.
