Greetings, I've just subscribed to the list, so I thought that I'd test the waters! I'm attempting to establish the identity of the parents of Thomas Bird of Hartford, CT, b. approx. 1600, d. Aug 10, 1662 in Hartford. He was married to Mary Belden. I've noted that Dorothy Bird of Hartford (approximately the same dates as Thomas) was married to a Thomas Lord. Both Dorothy and her husband Thomas Lord were from Towcester, Northamptonshire, England, were married there, and emigrated to the colonies. My question is: Does anyone have any direct evidence of a relationship between Thomas Bird and Dorothy Lord? It appears that they could be brother and sister. If so, who are their parents?
