    3. Go to the IL government web site here: http://www.cyberdriveillinois.com/departments/archives/genealogy/globsrch.ht ml This site is awesome! You can order different documents from there for very little cost. They have a wonderful search engine and marriage records up to 1900, and are always adding more that are later than 1900. You cannot go wrong using this site for IL research. I am certain you will want to bookmark this page.
