    3. Dear Friends and Cousins, The Sons of the American Revolution has approved my genealogical link with Mark Bird, Ironmasters Kin of Birdsboro PA. I'll provide details individually, having respect for your busy mailboxes. But allow me enough to provide enough info to see how you might connect. After providing Revolutionary War service, Mark Bird moved to the NC/SC border country and other names in my family include Cooper, Roberts, and Nance, with ties in Rutherford and Cleveland County NC. The Bird/Nance line that ties in is from York County SC (Marcus Ross Bird and Dorinda Nance). I have proved the line to the SAR from me to the Patriot, so all you need do is to provide documentation that you connect somewhere along that line and you will be eligible for Sons of the American Revolution or Daughters of the American Revolution membership.
