Hello to all! I have Birds that from Mt Pleasant Iowa, maybe there is a connection here somewhere. James Bird came from England and died in Petersburg, PA. He married Cynthia Osborne. Joseph Bird, son of James & Cynthia, married Charity Smith. Children were: James Washington Bird who married Martha Kerchaval from Kentucky. Their children were: Edward E. Bird, born in Mt Pleasant, IA, Charles D. Bird b. Mt Pleasant, Finley K. Bird, Laura Miranda Bird, John Wellington Bird, Joseph A. Bird, Emma M. Bird, Charity E. Bird, Earnest E. Bird. Edward E. Bird came to Nebraska sometime before 1885. Edward was my GG Grandfather. Cathy
