Hi, I am looking for other BIRD researchers in Hampshire County, WV. I have seen a Mary Bird(b.1725) m. Stephen Rudell in 1753. She died in 1780 in Hampshire County, WV. Her father was Lt. Andrew Bird. The reason I am researching these Birds is that I descend from 2 BIRD lines one from an Effie Bird(b.1725 and dau. of Elisha & Cathrina 'Ringo' Bird) and a Mary Bird(ancestry unknown). Effie Bird married a Reuben Pownall and they had a daughter Rachel Pownall(b.1756), who married a John Peters(b.1750). John Peters' parents were James and Mary (BIRD) Peters. Both John & Rachel moved to Hampshire County, WV in about 1792. It is currently being speculated that there may have been other BIRD's that moved to Hampshire County, WV(then VA). Can anyone help me on this? John Peters
