VIII Bird Family p. 159, IX Bird Family (continued) p. 182 and X The Byrd Family p. 203 to 229. Other related families are: Hunter, Beckwith, Medley, Phillips, Amos and Needham Sikes. It starts with WILLIAM BIRD born in England, died in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. He had sons: William, Abraham & Andrew. John Ruddell, Seniors Will is also included. The line I thought was my husbands was Amos Bird of NC. This lineage is found in Chapter X. Vol. 2 gives family charts of this bird lineage. I bought both books for $40.00.
