Hi all - I am looking for information on my g-g-grandfather. I have a few names. William Goodman BIRD m. Rachel BARNES (b. abt. 1820). They had a son, Joseph George BIRD, at Badby, Daventry, Northamptonshire, England on 31 Mar, 1856. The 1851 census of England lists a William G. BIRD, age 45, unmarried, son of Prudence BIRD, living at Sculthorpe, Walsingham, Norfolk; and a Rachael BARNES, age 32, unmarried, living at Norwich, Norfolk. Not sure if these are the same ones, but if so, they must have married and moved to Northamptonshire soon after. The 1881 census has Rachel, Joseph G., and family, but William must have died previously. I haven't had access to censuses in between or earlier yet. I need to know more about this family - more info re: children, William & Rachel's families, birthdates & places, etc., etc. Basically, just anything I can find or you can send me.
