I am having a difficult time finding any information on my great-grandfather, Thomas Byrd. He was born somewhere in TN in 1852. His father was born in Virginia and his mother was born in North Carolina ((Information taken from the 1900 NM Census and 1880 census). My grandmother did not get to know her father since he died when she was born but she does recall that he named his children after his family members. His children's names are: Thomas John Henry Albert Mary Margaret Ruth Annie Josephine Frank If anyone has any information PLEASE send it to me, Iam dying to solve this mystery. Paula PPangier@usa.net
