While doing a search on Familysearch.org I found this info submitted by Caldeen McDonald Benedict Mathias Burd b 1750 d 1817 M AFN:1689-1ML Saville twp Perry CO PA wife Katherine Penter b Westmoreland CO PA abt 1764 died 1832 AFN 1689-20T This couple had a son Mathias Jr b1793 d 1876 he married a Catherine Roth. I believe that my family of Burds came from Westmoreland PA and are connected to a family named Roth. Does anyone have more info on the above line of Burds? Virginia Richardson
