Hi Bird people, I have just joined this list. I am looking for connections in England to my Bird family. My greatgrandmother Rachel Alice Bird (nee Bullen), with 4 children Ernest (11, my grandfather), Louisa (9), Alfred (6) and Ada (3) left London on 29 July 1887 on "Jumna" and arrived in Brisbane, Q, Australia on 18 Sept 1887. Greatgrandfather Charles had been in Aus for some time before that. They had lived in East Finchley London. Does anyone out there have any Bird connections in England which go further back?
